A Death Benefit is paid when a participant dies and has designated a specific beneficiary who then becomes eligible for a death pension benefit. If you are unable to provide copies of any of the required documents, you will need to state why you cannot do so and provide in its place any other document in your possession that will provide the same information as the requested documents listed below:<\/p>\n

      The Pension and Death Benefit Applications are processed by the TMSEL, Inc. Retirement Income Plan office, and a benefit approval with payment may take thirty to sixty days. The TMSEL, Inc. Retirement Income Plan Board of Trustees, meet every third Thursday of each month, and all Retirement and Death Benefits are approved by the Board of Trustees. Pension Benefit payments are paid monthly through direct deposit administered by Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company. It is important to keep your information current with the TMSEL, Inc. Retirement Income Plan office, and the TMSEL, Inc. Retirement Income Plan office staff will happily assist you with the following:<\/p>\n
