Our Story: Turning Recovery into Purpose
At Sanctuary Homes, Vincent and Sheila’s story began long before their doors officially opened in 2018. They were called to provide a safe haven for men and women in recovery who needed a fresh start. At the time of their union in 2012, giving refuge began as a small act of kindness and developed into something much bigger: a place where men may rediscover who they are and who they were meant to be, with the support of compassion, structure, and hope.
On June 1, 2018, after years of assisting people in rebuilding their lives, they formally established Sanctuary Homes with the following sincere goal:
Helping Men Rebuild, Recover, and Rise Again
Encouragement is vital when we are walking through the stresses and trials of life; they have walked it and will be the voice of wisdom and reason and will go the distance to provide or find the resources and support you need.
A Place Where
Recovery Becomes Renewal
- Faith Based Support: They guide guests through recovery with faith, prayer, and compassion.
- Safe and Clean Home: Our peaceful and well maintained home provides comfort, structure, and stability.
- Personalized Guidance: They help each man with job searches, resumes, and life skills for independence.
- Affordable Living: Comfortable rooms and full access to all facilities at reasonable monthly rates.
- Family Atmosphere: Every resident is treated with dignity, love, and respect as we grow together.
At Sanctuary Homes, recovery is not just about staying sober. It is about rediscovering purpose, rebuilding confidence, and finding peace within yourself and with others.
