The Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA) requires businesses and Maids of Utah alike, to handle personal information of clients in a professional manner and ensures transparency and adheres to current privacy principles.

  • Information Collection:  We only collect information that will allow us to provide and improve our services. These include the following:

    • Contact information: Name, billing address of the service, email address and current phone number.

    • Payment Details: Credit card or other payment information which is processed through an encrypted payment method.

    • Service Preferences: Notes: for your home’s unique cleaning needs, it’s entry information, security code information or any specific requests.

  • Purpose of Processing: We collect certain information solely for the purpose of processing payments, scheduling appointments, communication with our cleaners regarding the service and promotions, if you opt-in, and for the purpose of personalizing our services to you.

  • Data Sharing: We do not share information with third parties, except to process payment or to run our business operations. We use Stripe as our payment gateway and they are also contracted to keep any of your information safe.

  • Data Security: We take measures to ensure your data is secure on locked, encrypted access controlled systems to lock against unauthorized access, disclosure or even theft.

  • Your Rights: Under the UCPA, Utah residents have the right to:

    • Confirm whether we are processing their personal data.

    • Access and obtain a copy of their data in a portable format.

    • Request the deletion of personal information they have provided.

    • Opt out of any promotional communications or the potential use of data for targeted advertising.
