Victoria Jones was on cocaine in prior Napa County arrest
Victoria Jones, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones who was found dead this week, admitted to using cocaine during an arrest in April in Napa, court documents show.According to the Napa County sheriff’s deputy who made the arrest, Jones had dried blood coming out of her nose when she was booked April 26 for resisting arrest, being under the influence, and possessing a controlled substance. The 34-year-old was found dead at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco early Thursday morning. A source with knowledge of the scene said the death appeared to be due to an accidental overdose. The April incident was one of three times Napa officials made contact with Jones last year. On Feb. 11, deputies responded to a domestic violence call about Jones at a residence in the 1000 block of Las Amigas Road; no arrest was made, Napa sheriff’s spokesperson Henry Wofford told The Standard. In that case, Wofford said the alleged victim called 911 because they “felt that things were escalating during an argument.” The caller stated that they did not wish to pursue charges against Jones and only wanted to ensure that the incident was documented. The April arrest occurred at the same residence, though it was unclear whether the caller in the first incident was involved. Wofford said sheriff’s officials were conducting a welfare check on Jones when she admitted to using cocaine. While Jones was being booked, a plastic bag with a substance officials believed to be cocaine was found in her jacket pocket, according to court documents. Then, on June 13, 2025, sheriff’s deputies were called to the Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa after Jones allegedly slapped a man in the face twice. According to a police report, the alleged victim said the two had been arguing about Jones’ drinking and drug use when she struck him. The responding deputy wrote that the man’s face and ear were visibly red. Jones denied striking him, the report said.Wofford confirmed that the alleged victim in the June incident was the same person who called for help in February but declined to press any charges. The criminal complaint filed in connection with the arrest at the hotel includes a special allegation of elder abuse and states that the victim was Jones’ partner.Stephanie K.
