PALM BEACH GARDENS — A late-night law enforcement operation resulted in the arrest of a man on multiple drug-related charges, including trafficking in prescription opioids, according to official booking records.

The suspect, Sean E. Stanley, a White male, was taken into custody on January 5, 2026, at approximately 1:59 a.m., under Report No. 305235. Authorities reported that Stanley was arrested on suspicion of trafficking in oxycodone (7 grams or more), possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug equipment.
Officials did not release additional details about the circumstances of the arrest, including the location, method of discovery, or whether any other individuals were involved. Stanley was transported to the county detention facility for processing and is expected to appear before a judge for an initial hearing.
Drug trafficking arrests, particularly involving opioids like oxycodone, are treated as serious felonies under Florida law due to the potential risk to public safety.
As with all criminal matters, the charges represent allegations only, and the suspect is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
