Human Midkine
Catalog Number: 118914
Description:
Midkine (MDK) is a highly basic, nonglycosylated polypeptide growth factor. It promotes angiogenesis, cell growth, cell migration and fibrinolysis. Serum MDK is frequently elevated in advanced human carcinomas, decreases after surgical removal of the tumors, and is correlated with prognostic factors. The Human Midkine ELISA Kit is designed to quantify natural or recombinant human Midkine in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant and body or lavage fluid.
